Alone in the Dark

She is alone,
Like a shadow in the corner of a dark hall way
She has no light    
She has nobody there to comfort her,
No one there for her to comfort,
No one there to love and care for her,
No one there for her to love and care for
She feels nothing but pain and suffering,
Her heart is broken and heavy,
Feeling heavier ever second that passes,
She is suffering because she is alone,
She is alone in the dark.
