Alone in the dark
In a cold house, she's all alone
No friends, no car, and no phone
In the forest, she got lost
And found a house, covered in frost
Under her breath, she mutters "damn"
When the heavy front door slams
Someone's here, without a doubt
Suddenly, the lights go out
She stumbles through the pitch black hall
Her hand gripping the cold damp wall
Since there is no moon tonight
There is not a drop of light
She hears a footstep from behind
She turns around but she is blind
Something brushes past her nose
And then who knows where it goes
She slips inside the nearest door
Searches through all the dark drawers
Her eyes glow with sweet del
